Carlie, Bridge

My experience with North Dayton Addiction & Recovery was nothing short of miraculous. I was treated as a human being who mattered. Every concern I had from changing prescriptions to just having questions was addressed immediately. The staff went above and beyond for me and my family. The encouragement I received from the Doctors was unlike anything I had ever received at a recovery center (and I have been to more than a few). I will never forget the human concern they had for me, and I appreciate it so much. I wasn’t just a number to them, they genuinely cared if I made it. They were essential in my recovery, and I’m forever grateful.

Bridge: For me, being on the Bridge became a spiritual experience. I had been such a prisoner to the mental obsession of using, that I was incapable of seeing anything else. While on the Bridge I was able to regain normal thinking. For the first time in over a decade, I was able to sit with myself and decide what recovery looked like for me. It helped me tremendously with not overreacting, and recognizing that I could get through whatever moment I was struggling with. It helped me regain my sanity.
